Health Care Assistants

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. Angela has a key role in the anti-coagulation clinic and performs INR checks on Monday and Thursday mornings at the surgery. Angela also performs over 40’s health checks.
